The horror...

First class of the 1st year, Mgr. Kacala (squeak of Myar in the background), English Phonetics
*spis ksiazek, organizacyjne pierdu-pierdu*
How to work:
- do a parrot ;]
- recognize what is wrong with you(yeah, but from which end should I start?! X_x)
- chose an accent (but ...blah, forget it...no irish, no gaelic..:<..oh,why, WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!)
RP- RECEIVED PRONUNCIATION --->SIGH....

8 vowels(samoglosek) in Polish, 20 in English, oh, goody! Now I know I can't speak English...X_x My poor ego...

I Polish consonants become voiceless fully, in English almost never... (bezdzwieczne spolgloski)

TH-oh...God...My ego lies hidden in a very dark corner...crying...

discipline - no C in English, wow I actually know and do something right, woohoo!

*I HATE YOU, Myar, because of you I see Kacala dressed as Rincewind with a 'Teacherr' on his hat>_< *whimper*

silent letters:
R->card OH...
-MB-> climb
bomb->...God...
KN->know,gnome,gnat YES! *whimper**happy one* I knew that!

Stress(akcent)(oh, i feel it alright..)
In Polish stress is fixed. In English-variable. If you misplace stress , communication will suffer(oh, believe you me, it WILL greatly, like it had never done before!)

Changing shapes of words:
- would you -> would'ya
-west side ->wes'side
hmm.. I do dat(?!) I mean that...
In Polish in questions voice rises at the end... in English not always, in fact it often falls...
And what is the best - remember homophones!
pair&pear

And that is just a brief overlook...
( WHAT ego?...)
